Installation Instructions

STAND ALONE

THIS METHOD ALLOWS FOR THE SYSTEM TO BE MOVED FROM ONE TRUCK TO ANOTHER, OR USED OUTSIDE OF THE TRUCK.

Tools required.  Phillips screw driver and wire cutters.

The simplest use of TruckVac Pro, "stand alone" this method allows you to move the system from truck to truck without it being permanently mounted, or carry home for your personal use as a small canister vac. Some items in your TruckVac Pro kit will not be needed if used as a stand alone system.

INSTALLATION MATERIALS

1 TruckVac Pro Canister

1 Mounting Plate

1 Face Plate

4 PVC Couplers

1 Pressure Release Valve

1 Bag Connector Fitting

 1 Bag Connector
Gasket

 4 Vacuum Bags

 1 Mesh Tool Caddy

1 18 Inch Plastic Wand

 1 Crevice Tool

1 Upholstery Tool

 1 Dusting Brush

 1 12 1/2ft Hose

8 Feet of Wire

 3 Electrical Terminals

 5 Self Taping Screws
 2 Horizontal Mounting Brackets

STEP 1 - Attach 90° PVC elbow to vacuum intake on the left side of the canister, elbow should be pointed upwards..
STEP 2 - Strip ½ inch of insulation off of low voltage wires.

Attach wires to screws located on the back of the faceplate. It does not matter which wire goes to which screw.

STEP 3 - Feed wire through the mounting plate's top rectangular hole. see photo.
STEP 4 - Attach faceplate to the mounting plate and insert faceplate screws into each faceplate screw hole and tighten. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
STEP 5 - Attach the faceplate assembly created in the previous step to the 90° PVC elbow installed in step 1.
STEP 6 - Run the previously attached low voltage wire from faceplate to canister. Strip ¼ in of insulation from the low voltage wire, and attach the included electrical terminals. Attach low voltage wire to low voltage connectors on the side and base of the canister. Note - it does not matter which wire is attached to which connector on side of the canister.

STEP 7 - Insert a coupler on the pressure release valve.
STEP 8 - Insert the pressure release valve assembly, created in step 7, onto the remaining canister intake.

STEP 9 - Insert the gasket over bag connecter assembly.

Insert the bag connector assembly, into back side of intake from the inside of canister.

Assembly must snap into position. (Gasket should be pushed tight to seal canister and bag connector assembly.)

Attach the bag to the connector assembly. The rubber seal on the bag should overlap the bag connector assemble lip.

Close lid. The underside of the lid has a hook mounted; it hooks on the curved lip of the canister. Lid hook should be on the opposite side from the latch.

STEP 10 - Route the power cord from the canister to your 110vac supply.
STEP 11 - Now you are ready to use the TruckVac Pro. Just insert the end of the hose that has the metal band cuff into the inlet and the unit will start automatically.  Use the included tools for cleaning different areas of your truck.
